Strong winds marked the TSC 2015 Spring Regatta. The Saturday race had winds in excess of 30 knots with 3 to 6 foot waves. Reefed mains and small jibs were the order of the day. On Sunday the winds abated to 15 knots or less as the fleet sailed up the coast and into Catch 22 bay. It was a dicey beat to weather but the breeze came up and we had a great run back to the finish line. All in all, very challenging sailing which we don’t see that often in San Carlos.
